'I Love New York' Contestant Lands Role in Cinemax Series

Ezra Masters, who is more popularly known as Buddha on the VH1 reality dating series I Love New York, may not have captured Tiffany Pollard's heart but he has certainly captured the attention of the producers of the Cinemax original series Zane: Sex Chronicles.

Buddha joined the second season of I Love New York in 2007 and but was disqualified in the fourth episode.  He was brought back into the competition in the fifth episode and ended up as the runner-up to season 2 winner Tailor Made. (read more)

Word on the street for several months now is that Tiffany Pollard, also known as New York, and George “Tailor Made” Weisgerber, season 2 winner on the reality dating series I Love New York, have put an end to their romantic relationship. Earlier this month, we reported that the two reality TV lovers broke things off with a fiasco that fits in quite perfectly with VH1 as the network got the whole squabble on tape.  While there are some fans that refuse to believe the swirling rumors, several media outlets continue to unearth the controversy.  This time, confirmation comes from the network, where it all began.

After being dumped by I Love New York first season winner Tango, and twice before that by Flavor Flav on the reality dating series Flavor of Love, New York found love in Tailor Made, a contestant whom she picked in the finale of I Love New York 2.  Tailor Made proposed to New York but was turned down until she finally accepted his second proposal during the reunion special. Fans will be happy to know that Tiffany “New York” Pollard, who has previously expressed her desire to be a great Hollywood actress, is pursuing her dream and moving to Hollywood very soon.  In fact, her fans will be able to catch her on this journey with her newest VH1 reality series, New York Goes to Hollywood.

After being rejected twice in seasons 1 and 2 of Flavor of Love, New York decided to take control and find love herself on her own reality series, I Love New York.  After her relationship with season 1 winner Tango didn’t work out, she decided to give another shot at the dating game, this time bagging Tailor Made, who proposed to her in the season finale.  Tailor Made and New York are going strong nowadays, and she has moved on to pursue her other dreams. 'I Love New York' Alums Recruited for 'I Love Money'

We recently reported that the contestants of various VH1 reality shows are being called back for yet another turn at love—or is it money?  This time, the contestants have been revealed, and a few of them happen to be some of the most memorable personalities on I Love New York.

VH1 gathered a total of 17 contestants from Rock of Love, I Love New York and Flavor of Love to compete in another wacky competition that will put $250,000 up for grabs.  The cast has been officially revealed, and we find that eight out of the 17 contenders are in fact I Love New York alums. Season 2 of 'I Love New York' Out on DVD June 3

Season 2 of VH1's I Love New York is coming out on DVD soon.  Yes, the three-DVD set is due out June 3, according to an Amazon listing late last month. The imminent second season DVD comes courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Season 1 of the Flavor of Love spin-off was released on DVD by VH1's parent network, MTV, and distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment.  I Love New York – Season 2 will reportedly retail for $34.98.  Amazon has been accepting pre-orders of the coming DVD for a discounted offer of just $23.99.  The complete unrated first season DVD was released October 2, 2007 originally for $38.99. It's official: Tiffany "New York" Pollard is heading to Hollywood, Los Angeles for the new spin-off series of I Love New York.  Dubbed New York Goes to Hollywood, the show will follow the 26-year-old reality star as she pursues an acting career.  VH1 announced last week that it has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the new show.

According to the New York Post, filming for New York Goes to Hollywood begins in less than two weeks.  However, there's word that the network is having difficulty “casting” a manager for Pollard, who will be in Los Angeles for one month, and getting celebrities to do cameos on the show. Buddha is welcoming another year of his life, and what better way to celebrate than with a big birthday bash.

Buddha came close to winning the second season of VH1's I Love New York, but alas, was passed over for the amorous Tailor Made.  Still, Buddha doesn't have any ill feelings towards show bachelorette, Tiffany "New York" Pollard, nor his former opponent, even saying that he believes the two are right for each other.

Did you read that title and think, “Here it is: I've been waiting for the announcement that I Love New York 2 stars Tailor Made (George Weisgerber) and New York (Tiffany Pollard) broke up and ended the charade!”?
