I am returning from a much need vacation.  So, here are excerpts Steupz' of Bourgy.com's recap of New York's 1st episode:

The first episode of this season opens up with ‘New York’ talking about her reality show past and how the focus of trying to find a man for the last 3 years has distracted her from pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a serious actress.

She explains that VH1 has given her 30 days to basically get a role in something or "go home" (30 days? Does VH1 realize how bad the economy is now? How can you find a job in 30 days?)
So to get things started, New York decides to put out an ad to hire a personal assistant.

New York feels that the showcase was a flop since none of the managers stayed around and she realizes that becoming an actress is much harder than she could have imagined.
Now New York decides to go back home to prepare for another day.

Steupz writes much much more on the show.  However, after his review, I didn't think the first show had enough entertaining material to write about.  That leaves me a little worried about New York's new joint because Steupz is pretty entertaining.

It's kind of a short one this week. I Love Money didn't give me much to work with. I don't want to do another "dos and don'ts" list. There's not enough material yet. I think it's because there are so many cast members right now.

But I will list my favorite moments from Sunday's show. Before that, I have a confession to make. I actually clap during certain parts of I Love Money. I clap when Mr. Boston says something funny or when WhiteBoy and Chance jump on the counter.

Best Moments from Sunday:

    * Chance calling Nibblz a "predator wilderbeast."
    * Mr. Boston beating Nibblz and winning the contest for his team. Go Boston!
    * Boston getting a massage and telling the girls he had wood. Check out the video below. 12 Pack brings out honey and the girls put it all over him. Then they rub mud on him. Boston says that he thought it was kinky and tried to give Meghan a "thank-you" hug after.
    * Toastee faking an ankle sprain was a stupid moment. Destiney taking the bait was great. But even better was Hoopz and Chance questioning Toastee when she got back. Hoopz asked which way the ankle turned and Chance said that he's seen the girls jump hurdles in high heels. He didn't understand why she had a problem dancing. That Chance--he's a smart one he is.
    * Do you have a favorite moment? Are you liking I Love Money so far?
    * You can register for an I Love Money fantasy team. My sister and I did "Fantasy Rock of Love" this past season. We awarded points for dates with Bret, various sexual advances, drunk hijinx and getting other skanks eliminated. She won. She had both Daisy and Ambre. Who knew just from the pictures that Ambre would win? I had Angelique and Megan on my team. But, anyway go sign up and pick your team. I'm "superskankwednesday." No big surprise on the name. New York is Dumped Again!!!

Tiffany "New York" Pollard has been dumped by her TV boyfriend George "Tailor Made" Weisgerber. TV audiences will be treated to a front row seat of the relationship's demise, as the entire breakup will be shown on upcoming VH1 reality series, "New York Goes Hollywood," according to Eurweb.

Weisgerber won the title of Pollard's boyfriend on the season finale of VH1's "I Love New York 2" last December. The couple was engaged for several months before the relationship began to crumble - reportedly because of Tailor Made's busy work schedule. The fashion planner had quit his job at Calvin Klein to participate on the VH1 series but after the show began working with designer Mark Ecko.

“In January, George had a serious discussion with Tiffany,” a source tells People.com. “He had come to the conclusion that he couldn’t handle the relationship anymore. It was too distracting to his life, his career and his daughter. He couldn’t consistently be involved in that kind of drama.”

According to the source, the couple called it quits in mid-February or early March but pretended to still be together for the sake of the show.

“When they began shooting, he played it up that they were still together even though they weren’t,” says the source. “They had an understanding because he has respect for Tiffany.”

I Love Money Recap #1

t's almost impossible to find fault with I Love Money, VH1's latest foray into the world of pseudo-celebreality. This isn't to say it's not another deplorable, offensive entry in the genre – it totally is. But from the title alone, you know exactly what you're getting. Many contestants from Flavor of Love, I Love New York and Rock of Love have been accused of only appearing on the shows for fame. I Love Money embraces that shamelessness and indulges in the fact that these people just want fame and fortune.

The premiere of I Love Money begins with the 17 rejects on a boat heading to their Mexican island where they will compete in a series of challenges until one person walks away with $250,000. The first unofficial challenge is getting off the boat without getting wet. Many fail, and Midget Mac once again reminds us that he's terrified of drowning, so 12 Pack carries him off. They meet up with host Craig J. Jackson who tells them they're competing for something more valuable than the love of Flavor Flav, Tiffany Pollard or Bret Michaels: a quarter of a million dollars. It's about time someone put a price tag on love, but I think that's being a bit generous. One hundred dollars and a bus pass would be more valuable than winning “love” with any of them.

...BLAH BLAH BLAH and,

Hoopz and Whiteboy are the top two, so they will pick the teams. This leads to plenty of sucking up to both of them. Mr. Boston appeals to the common Jewish faith between him and Whiteboy while Megan uses her greatest asset: her ability to make men stupid with her sexiness. Meanwhile, Brandi C. is creeped out that Mr. Boston is sleeping in the same room as her and Megan. In fact, she calls him, “Creepy Creeperton, Creepy Creeptastic, Creepy Creepy.” There's a good chance Mr. Boston is my new favorite TV character.

I Love Money Elimination Time! For the first six, Hoopz chooses, in her order of preference: Rodeo, 12 Pack, The Entertainer, Heather, Toastee and Pumkin. Whiteboy chooses, in his order of preference: Chance, Real, Mr. Boston, Heat, Destiney, and Megan. Heat is reluctant to join the team without his boy 12 Pack, and Mr. Boston hilariously informs us that “Jews always stick together, especially on I Love Money.” God bless the Jews and their sense of humor.

It comes down to the final three and Hoopz chooses Nibblz because she does 10 pretty decent push-ups to impress the captains while Brandi C. sprains her ankle doing her push-ups. All four Flavor of Love girls are on the same team. Whiteboy goes for Brandi C., meaning, of course, Midget Mac is gone. That’s a bit of a no-brainer. Who wants an angry midget who doesn’t compete on their team?

This season on I Love Money: Lots and lots of screaming, fighting, scheming and hook-ups. It's like reality TV Heaven.

Whether you know him as the ultimate hype man for Public Enemy or for his ratings-busting VH1 show Flavor Flav keeps you interested. Even when he’s in between seasons, he’s still indirectly spawning hits for the network—the latest Flav spinoff, “I Love Money,” features nutjobs from past Flavor of Love seasons like Pumpkin, Nibblz, and Toastee.

When we had a chance to talk to Flav recently, we decided to flip the script and ask him some offbeat questions. What we got in return were some answers that would seem terribly awkward coming from anyone else. Read on to learn about dog-shit cracker sandwiches and how Flav lost his virginity at the tender age of six.

Complex: What would you consider to be your superpower?

Flavor Flav: What do I consider to be my superpower? God. God is my superpower. The Lord Jesus Christ the savior. The creator of the universe. He gives me the power to have a crazy personality that’s a lot different from everybody else’s.

Complex: So what’s the best trick you ever played on someone?

Flavor Flav: The best trick I ever played on someone was putting tacks on my teacher’s seat, and when she came to chase me out the class I had a string over the door, I jumped over the string, and she tripped over it and fell in the hallway. She fucked her face on the wall.

Complex: How much trouble you get in for that one?

Flavor Flav: Honestly, I got suspended for three weeks. And my mom beat me when I got home.

Complex: What was the worst trick someone ever played on you?

Flavor Flav: Umm, the worst trick someone ever played on me was when someone put a booger in my hamburger and I ate it.

Complex: How you find out?

Flavor Flav: Nah, I’ll tell you the truth okay… For the person that put the booger on my hamburger, I got him back by taking some dog shit and putting it on the Ritz Crackers and he ate that shit.

Complex: [Laughs] So was he tight?

Flavor Flav: Was he pissed? He was shitted for reals! (Laughs) Yea, forreal G. He put a booger on my hamburger so I got him with thinking peanut butter cookie sandwich it was dog shit.

Complex: Speaking of food, I guess, What’s your favorite food to barbecue?

Flavor Flav: My favorite food to barbecue is ribs, and chicken. And shrimp! Ribs, chicken, and shrimps! And I like barbeque my steaks! Oh man~~~ Come on! I’m one of the best barbequeist in the world.

Complex: What’s your most prized possession?

Flavor Flav: My most prized possession right now is a coo-coo clock that was made for me over in Switzerland. When we were over in Switzerland, they made a Flav Coo-Coo clock. And when it strikes three o’clock you got little Flav that comes out and say “YeahhhhhBoy! YeahhhhhBoy!”

Complex: (Laughs) What movie have you seen the most times?

Flavor Flav: Scarface. That’s my favorite movie of all time.

Complex: Whom do you have beef with?

Flavor Flav: I don’t have beef with nobody. I eat pork.

Complex: What celebrity intimidates you?

Flavor Flav: Umm…let me see. Well, Denzel Washington that’s my man. I love Denzel. I’ve met Denzel twice in my life, and every time I’ve met Denzel I was crazy star struck G.

Complex: Where did you lose your virginity?

Flavor Flav: Where did I lose my virginity? I lost my virginity in the bushes on a box.

Complex: Really?

Flavor Flav: Yea, in the bushes on a box. A girl and me were having sex on a box in the bushes, in some big tall bushes.

Complex: How uh…when was this?

Flavor Flav: This was when I was real, real, real, real, young.

Complex: Like elementary school? Or middle school?

Flavor Flav: Nah, I’m a tell you the truth; I lost my virginity when I was 6 years old.

Complex: Really?

Flavor Flav: Yea, man. Because you know we learned to have done the nasty back in the days, and me and this girl we experiment, we were experimenting, and my little joint got hard, I penetrated for about a few seconds.

Complex: I respect that. Early start my man.

Flavor Flav: That’s right early start and guess what and I have a great finish right now. [Laughs] Yessir!

Flavor of Love Season Three DVD Review

Okay let's get one thing straight right off the back.  Personally, I don't care for reality television.  I've watched it, I've tried to enjoy it. It's just not my thing.  However, being the unbiased reviewer of 411 means that I have to bite the bullet every now and again and review shows I might not otherwise. Such is the case with this VH1 brainchild, Flavor of Love 3.  I was surprised to see that while I don't care for the show in general, at least it was engaging at times.

For anyone who might be new to the concept of these types of reality dating shows, it works like this.  All of these women will live together in one giant house to date Flavor Flav.  Every show one or more of them is eliminated until finally Flav has "his Queen".  There will be challenges along the way, and the winners get solo dates with Flav. Not only will there be challenges that Flav presents, but they'll have to survive each other since they are all naturally conflicting personalities.

I think even Flav is tired of the reality stuff at this point, because at the beginning of the season he declares that this is the last time he does this. It makes sense to me.  The crop of girls vying for his love all seem like pretty reprehensible human beings.  Every new episode there are new flaws being revealed (which the girls will gladly tattle to Flav about) and arguments about everything. It's sad there are people like this in this world, and VH1 seemed to be able to pick out a whole group of them to torture Flav with.  I kind of feel sorry for him.  Thank goodness he called it quits after this.

In fact, if you do want some entertainment, Flav himself is the best place to find it. He seems like a cool guy to hang out with as he's basically a big kid. He's constantly trying to amuse himself.  The dates he takes the girls on can show that.  He takes them on things he wants to do.  My favorite part is when he's just sitting around with Big Rick, faking a British accent.  He didn't know the camera was on him, he just did it. Watching a guy clown around like that brings some entertainment, what little there is to be had on this show.

Another problem with this DVD set, is that it's labeled "Uncensored".  This leads you to expect there will be some crazy stuff going on that you didn't get to see.  Basically, the only thing that is different from the television broadcast is that the word "f$%&" is not bleeped.  And there are no commercials. It's a bad trick to consumers.

Film: 4.0

The video quality is top-notch, as it's a direct transfer of the show that just aired. It's presented in full screen.

Video: 9.0

The audio is great as well, as everything sounds terrific. It's only in stereo, however, and there are no options to change to anything else. There are no subtitles or language features either. So you're stuck with what you get.

Audio: 6.0

The special features are plenty, which should please series die-hards. There is a Casting Special, in which many girls try to get on the show, regardless of how it makes them look. There's Flav's Filosophies, which is basically Flav's thoughts on a variety of topics. Girls Gone Flav: Ultimate Moments is highlights of the many argument during the season. Dirty Laundry is basically what the title says it is, dirty conversations. Flav and Thing 2's Parisian Date is the final date in Paris, extended. The Dead Bring Bad Luck features Flav nearly switching locations for this season due to something that happens. Finally there is a "supertrailer" for the entire season.

The DVD is pretty full with extras, so if you're a fan, this is nothing but good news for you. It was clearly loaded up with the fans in mind.

Extras: 7.0

The 411: It's basically this simple. If you like reality television, and you like the Flavor of Love series prior to season three, you'll like season three. You knew what your opinion was before you read this and you don't need me to tell you otherwise. However, the show isn't much for quality and the whole thing is a trainwreck. However, for fans of this show, the DVD features make it a nice little purchase. Just don't buy into the hype of the "Uncensored" tag. My final recommendation is this: Hardcore fans should buy it, everyone else should stay away.

         Final Score:  6.5   [ Average ]

Middle-Aged Bassheads: Flav and Chuck D in London

it's the night of the middle-aged bassheads, and it threatens to be every bit as distressing as the Sex Pistols' reunion gigs. Public Enemy got back together for a rare anniversary performance of 1988's It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, the album that brought underground NYC sounds and radical black politics together and helped push hip-hop firmly into the mainstream. Twenty-one years ago, Public Enemy's seminal first tour of the UK was met with a mixture of excitement and outrage not witnessed since the punk explosion. "I was excited, but I was also terrified," one fan who saw that first tour aged 16 told me.

Flavor Flav and Chuck D are in their late forties now, and so, you can tell from looking around, are many of their fans, but the Friday-night atmosphere is charged, for in many ways this is a homecoming gig. It Takes a Nation of Millions . . . begins with the words "London, England . . . consider yourselves WARNED!" over a howl of air-raid sirens, and there has always been a special bond between Public Enemy and the capital.

As the pre-show dubstep booms out, a grinning Flavor Flav, with a coterie of women hanging off his arm, moves past me through the crowd. These days Flav is more known for his eye-popping exploits on reality TV than as Chuck D's right-hand man in the most powerful political rap group of all time. Fortunately by 11pm the famous "target" stage backdrop is in place, and it's down to business and a raucous procession down memory lane, without the unseemly cynicism (or paunches) of the Sex Pistols reunion shows.

"There's always some shit with governments, that's how you know it's Public Enemy," Chuck D says early on, explaining why the controversial group member Professor Griff got stuck behind in New York. This generates some faint-hearted "Fight the power" type whoops, but it's one of few overtly political statements during an evening which is more about celebration than insurrection: "Party for Your Right to Fight", as Public Enemy would have it.

There may be only two frontmen in Public Enemy tonight, but the stage is still full, with guitar, bass and drums accompanying the Bomb Squad on the decks. And then there are the S1Ws (Security of the First World), the group's unintentionally camp bodyguards. They stand in formation at the back of the stage, wearing camouflage, arms folded, occasionally breaking out to do a little drill: a few steps forward, a turn, then back again. You wonder whether they have day jobs.

"Every time I come to London I'm always coming back home. This is my second home," Flavor Flav announces to wild cheers, and as well as hyping the crowd he does his fair share of rapping. While it's difficult to say this about a man who wears comically oversized timepieces around his neck, he is no court jester - he's no Bez - and Chuck D's faith in sticking by the eccentric host of Flavor of Love is more than vindicated.

Candace is Moving On

The third season of Flavor of Love ended with Thing 2 bagging Flavor Flav and bringing home the bacon, but viewers were even more surprised when, during the reunion show, Flavor Flav got down on his knees and proposed to none other than the mother of his children, Liz, who wasn’t even part of the show to begin with!  Since then, the women of Flavor of Love moved on to other ventures, and that includes Candace Cabrera, who’s more popularly known on the show as just Black.

"I’m doing a lot of parties and I just shot Smooth.  I did a Hype Williams video for Lloyd and Lil’ Wayne’s 'Girls All Around the World.' Hype is amazing so he had us in silver body paint like robots," Black tells VH1.  "I did The Foxhole with Jamie Foxx, which was fun. I did a shoot for an Xbox video game, too.  And I got a couple of things coming up that should be out by the end of this year."

During Flavor of Love's third season, however, we heard some rumors about how Black was pretending to be all "gangsta" and coming from the African American race.  However, Black cleared this out by saying, "There were a couple of things that were cut and edited that I wasn’t happy with, like when they asked about my ethnicity and they made it look like I didn’t know if I was white or Hispanic.  I also think that people forget that I didn’t ask to be called 'Black.'  I wanted to be called 'Blue,' but Flav named me after the color of my dress.  It had nothing to do with how I act or the way I talk or anything dealing with skin color or ethnicity."

Nonetheless, she says that she was one of the women who were truly attracted to Flavor Flav, despite him being far from the typical tall, dark and handsome bachelor.

"Everyone asks, 'How can you be into him?'  But to me, it’s not about the way someone looks, it’s about how they make me feel," Black explained.  "Being with him, I felt ways that I haven’t felt with anyone else.  He’s very special to me and just spending time with him and talking to him one-on-one, just the things we’d talk about-he was able to tell me things about myself that no one else had.  He really could see into me as a person, and I saw into him and I loved what I saw."

Now that her stint on Flavor of Love is over, fans can catch her as she launches her own website, CandaceCabrera.com and pursues her modeling career.

Thing 2 Speaks About Being in the Competition with Her Sister

Flava Flav just upstaged Brad Womack's twist to The Bachelor with his decision to propose to the woman who gave birth to his children.  Despite this, Flava Flav chose Thing 2 in the finale of the season, making her believe that they indeed had a happy ending.  But bitterness aside, Thing 2 now has a life and career after Flavor of Love, and has been working on other projects.  She recently spoke with VH1 to talk about her experiences on the show, and how her sister's presence in the competition really helped her through it.  In fact, Thing 2 says that it was hard seeing her sister go after Thing 1's elimination.

"It was tough.  You’re coming in with someone you know, you love and you trust.  And then to have that taken away in such a stressful environment, it was hard," Thing 2 told VH1.  "But we knew it was going to come to that.  Ultimately, if Flav was really looking for love, he couldn’t possibly pick two sisters."

Truly, Flava Flav decided to keep Thing 2 and let Thing 1 go.  However, this did not spawn any bitterness between the two.  In fact, Thing 1 was very happy for her sister when Flava Flav chose Thing 2 in the finale.

"She was happy.  If it wasn’t going to be her, she wanted it to be me, and if it wasn’t going to be me, I wanted it to be her," Thing 2 says.  "She was more ecstatic than I was."

Moreover, Thing 2 admits that their bond as sisters could never be broken, saying, "No, no.  A man would never come between us."

Despite being twins, Thing 2 says that there's still a slight difference between them, aside from their weight, of course.  Thing 2 says, "My sister’s a little more relaxed, and I’m a little more up-tempo.  I’m a little more boisterous."

Now that Flavor of Love is over, it seems that Thing 2 has no regrets, and is looking forward to her other projects.

Public Enemy performs at Manchester Academy

Public Enemy were missing group member Professor Griff. He could not make it (he is not allowed a passport for some reason). The rest of the original line up are there; Chuck D, Flavor Flav and clock, Terminator X and the Security Of The First World dancers.

'Bring The Noise', with its sirens, wake up the whole room and everyone is bouncing or waving their arm in the air. Public Enemy paved the way for modern hip hop, and this is the album that did it.

'Don't Believe The Hype' is still a catchy mother of a tune, along with 'Terminator X To The Edge of Panic' and 'Black Steel In The Hour of Chaos'. Chuck tells us that the first side of the album was meant to be the second side, and it should have started with 'Show Em Whatcha Got', but was rearranged so that there was more of a build up. Unlike many bands today he embraces the mobile recording generation, by telling us to "get out your camera phones 'cos here comes 'Caught, Can We Get a Witness?'". Many people are too busy dancing to oblige though.

There's a few rants, like when Chuck's phone was not working for two months between the hours of midnight and 2am, which could have been caused by bugging, but many high points, like Flavor encouraging the crowd to match his yells of "Aye!", one of which is held for a bloody long time. This is a memorable gig to those who made it in, the entire album straight out live; it doesn't happen that often, and not with pioneers like Public Enemy.

Flavor of Love is officially dead. How do you feel?

Flav: Right now, I feel so relieved. You know what I’m sayin’? I feel real good right now that I got my true love. I wanna be with her forever and ever and ever, man.

At what point did you realize that this was what you wanted?

Flav: Honestly, I kinda realized it around Flavor of Love 2, but we had to get past Flavor of Love 3. You know what I’m sayin’ and the whole 9? Definitely, man. This [gestures to Liz] is something to realize here.

So you got nothing out of Flavor of Love 3?

Flav: It took me to do this show to really, really realize yes, I’m right and I’m gonna stick with my son and his mom.

So it was worth doing to give you that confirmation?

Flav: Definitely so. None of the girls, out of all 65, had qualities like Liz.

Can you talk about her qualities?

Flav: She’s a very, very good mom at home. She’s a very wonderful person and she’s been hanging in there with me. I love her so much for that. I think right now she deserves the best and the best is me.

Has it been hard, Liz?

Liz: Very. It’s hard seeing someone you love on TV looking for love, especially when I knew that he had love. I was the one.

Have you watched the show?

Liz: I’ve watched some of the shows, but it’s real tough. You never want to see someone you love on TV with other women.

I know that this qualifies as a happy ending, but is there any sense of sadness about Flavor of Love being over? It’s a show that millions of people love.

Flav: No. People really thought that Flav couldn’t find love. That’s not true, because I had love all along.

Looking forward, how are things in the world of sitcoms?

Flav: I’m having fun with that right now. It’s so different than reality TV. With reality TV you got cameras on you 24 hours a day, and you’re under your own direction. With sitcom television, I’m under someone else’s direction. I’m rehearsing and delivering lines. And I’m really having fun with it. I’m hoping that this can last for another five to 10 years.

Flavor of Love is over, but does that mean that your time with reality TV in general is over?

Flav: No. That doesn’t mean I won’t be on reality TV again, but I won’t be on reality dating shows anymore. It’s over. I got mines. I got my flavor of love right there.

On the season finale of Flavor Of Love 3, Flavor Flav selected Thing 2 over Black.  After kissing Flavor Flav, Thing 2 had remarked, “I got my man.  We ain’t coming back for a season four.  It’s a wrap.”  It turns out Thing 2 was right about there not being a season four, because during the Flavor Of Love 3 Reunion, Flavor Flav made a marriage proposal.

The only thing was that Thing 2 was wrong about having her man, because the marriage proposal made by Flavor Flav wasn’t to Thing 2.  Even though the Flavor Of Love 3 finale aired just last week, Thing 2 and Flavor Flav were apart for six months after the finale taped.

After reuniting with Thing 2 on the Flavor Of Love 3 Reunion show, Flavor Flav said, "Out of all my shows that I’ve done, this moment right here is the hardest for me.  This is my third season of Flavor Of Love and everything, you know what I mean, and I went through sixty-five women."  Flavor Flav went on to explain that since the finale he had been spending a lot of time with his youngest son and his youngest son’s mother.  Flavor Flav said, "The best gift that a man can ever give a child is to love his mother, and you know, I do love his mom."  Thing 2 took the news very well and expressed she was happy just to be reunited and have a friendship with Flavor Flav.

At the end of the Flavor Of Love 3 Reunion, Flavor Flav’s youngest son Karma and his mother Liz joined Flavor Flav on stage.  Flavor Flav got down on one knee in front of Liz and said, "By me doing these shows, everything that I’ve been looking for in a woman, it’s been right here within you all the time.  Let me ask you this, will you marry me?"  Liz said, "Finally, finally, yes, I will."  Even though there might not be a Flavor Of Love 4, when asked if there would be a wedding special, Flavor Flav said, "Everybody’s going to be filming this one, right here."

Flav Dismisses all Flavors; Proposes to Previous Baby Mama

In his last reunion show on what he promised would be the final season of "Flavor of Love," rap figure turned reality king Flavor Flav dismissed Thing 2, his choice in last week's season finale -- and every other woman from the past three seasons -- by choosing instead somebody who was never on the show, a baby mama named Liz, who appeared with their curly headed son named Karma.

It had been six months since the "Flavor of Love 3" finale, and he hadn't seen his choice, Thing 2, in all that time. She came on and said she was excited for the future. But when Flav was asked if he was still in love, he came up with this tortured speech:

Let me tell you something, man. Out of all my shows that I've done, this moment right here is the hardest for me. This is my third season of 'Flavor of Love,' and everything, you know what I mean, and um, I went through 65 women -- 65 -- to try to, you, find love, you know what I'm saying? And at the time, too, when I, you know, started this, had a baby on the way and the whole nine, you know what I'm saying? But yet you know I wasn't committed to his mom. I been away from her now for a good six months and everything, you know and um, I just spending a lot of time, you know what I'm saying, with my son -- you know, I got Karma, I got a son, my seventh child. I'm spending a lot of time with him and everything you know what I mean. and also too I been spending a lot of time with his mom, too.

You know, just after doing these three shows now, I mean maybe, you know, maybe I should have just been noticing what I had in my face the whole time, you know what I'm saying? There's an old saying, you know: the best gift a man can ever give a child is to love his mother. And you know I do love his mom. That's right now where I need to be, to keep the family together. .

Thing 2 took it well, saying they have a friendship for a long time to come.

And when the baby mama named Liz (who didn't even have a proper "Flavor of Love" nickname) came out with their son Karma, Flav got on his knee to do something he also didn't do in three seasons of "Flavor of Love." He proposed. He got on his knee to ask Liz: "Would you marry me?"

"Finally, finally," replied the poor woman, with their son Karma on her lap; she's had to watch five seasons of his romantic antics on various VH1 reality shows.

All host Lala could do was try to get him to promise to have their wedding televised. Just so we won't lose Flav to domestic life altogether.

Reunion Recap: The Good , the Bad and the In-Sinceer

Flavor Flav has said this third season will be the last for Flavor of Love, meaning tonight's reunion special is quite possibly the last taste of the show viewers will get. Once again, LaLa is the hostess. I guess Po and Tinky Winky were busy. The ladies are in the house, as are Flav's niece and mom.

Flav comes out and says this season's ladies were the nicest yet, not the craziest. Sommore, the comedienne from the Flavorette roast, is back. The amount of canned laughter used during her stale jokes is offensive. Ice comes down and says there are no circumstances under which she would sleep with Flavor Flav. Good for her.

The man of the hour takes his crown off to reveal that he's gone bald. That's random. Next up is a montage of Shy's insanity and her stank-ass breath. She admits that the ordeal of her bad breath has hurt her professional acting/modeling career. She got to go to schools to talk to kids about how people on reality TV shows shouldn't be their role models because it's "unappropriate." Then we relive Prancer and Shy coping with their mother's dying from the same rare disease. Shy encourages viewers to love their moms.

Remember Hotlanta's alcoholism? She incorrectly uses the phrase "icing on the cake" to refer to things getting worse, when in reality, the icing is the best part of the cake. Hotlanta explains that being on Flavor of Love 3 was like being on vacation, which is why she got drunk 24/7. Sinceer also had an alcohol problem in the mansion. She proudly flaunts her new fake breasts. Sinceer has no apologies for being a horrible beeyotch to Bunz.

The Sinceer/Seezinz feud is up next, reminding us that Sinceer was the cause of all the drama on this season. These two women argue forever, and sadly Flavor Flav preemptively stops a fight by sitting between them. Black gets the next spotlight and she's just as plain and boring as ever. She's like two scoops of vanilla ice cream: nobody hates it, but no one gets excited about it.

Finally, we look back at Thing 2. Flavor Flav thinks back on his time on the show, and how when he started the first season, Flav was expecting another child, and he says he should be devoted to giving his kid a dad. Then he brings out his son Karma and his baby mama Liz. And Flavor Flav proposes. To Liz, a woman with no connection to this show.

HA!

This is a lot like the end of St. Elsewhere when the whole show was revealed to take place in the mind of an autistic kid. Three seasons later, and all this dumb Flavor of Love dating had nothing to do with anything, because Flavor Flav is marrying the woman he had a kid with before the show ever happened. What a huge "Screw you" to everyone who ever watched or appeared on Flavor of Love.

He tries to explain that he truly was looking for love on the show, but it happens that he had it all along. It's hard to be opposed to a man proposing to the mother of one of his children, but in the context of this reality show, Flavor Flav has done it.

Surprise teenager Crae Ingersoll-Taylor has landed a recurring role on a new television sitcom starring rap and reality television star Flavor Flav.

The 14-year-old Willow Canyon High School freshman made his national television debut on a recent episode of Flav's "Under One Roof" on MyNetworkTV (7 p.m. Wednesdays on KUTP-Channel 45). Crae, playing the rapper's son, had to capture the essence of Flavor Flav for his role.

"I had to be just like him and with all of the mannerisms, too," he said with a laugh. "It was so much fun, believe me."

Spoilers for the Reunion Show

After choosing Thing 2 over Black in the season (and series) finale of Flavor of Love, Flavor Flav gives his take on the show, while the rest of the contestants give an update on their lives since their elimination.

Of course, a Flavor of Love reunion special won't be the same without the drama, catfights and other unexpected twists that will give the girls the shock of their lives and give fans at home an entertaining (or dreadful) one hour viewing experience.

In a preview of the reunion special, there appears to be a few major twists in store for everyone, including some cursing and girls showing their private parts to the audience.  The most anticipated moment ensues when Flavor Flav asks someone to marry him, though it's not clear if it is Thing 2 or someone else.

According to MediaTakeOut.com, Thing 2 will be announcing that she's not interested in being with Flavor Flav anymore, which certainly contradicts her recent VH1 interview where she seemed optimistic about her relationship with the rapper.  At any rate, she reveals that she's got a new man in her life right now and that they are engaged.  Who is Thing 2's mystery man?  It has been reported that he is a 45-year-old man with a bunch of children and that he had already appeared on the show playing the "Exes game."

As expected, Flavor Flav takes the rejection in stride.  Eventually, he brings out his baby mother and proposes to her on camera.  While this is what Media Take Out is reporting, other speculations have surged that Flavor Flav will be ultimately proposing to Black.

Who will Flavor Flav propose to?  There's only one way to find out. Catch the reunion show on Monday at 9pm on VH1.

A Tribute to Flavor Flav

Lover. Rapper. Philosopher. Inventor of new words. This pioneer in skanktabulous television is finally retiring. There will not be a Flavor of Love 4. He's let us into his life, included us in his search for true love, and taught us new words.
And the ride has been both Romantical and Dramatical.

Flav's mere existence on celebreality has spawned two direct spin-offs with I Love New York and Charm School and an indirect spin-off with Rock of Love. Call me crazy but if there was no Flavor of Love, there would be no Rock of Love. You can thank Mr. Flavor Flav for paving the way. Word.

But, alas, all good things come to end. Let's do a quick timeline (Because timeline's are fun. That's why.):

1959: Flav enters the world. The universe smiles.
1980s: Flav raps in some group. (Just kiddin'. But seriously, let's skip to the good stuff.)
2004: Flav appears on VH1's The Surreal Life. He falls for the very large, very manly Brigitte Nielsen.
2005: Strange Love premieres. Brigitte leaves on a jet plane. She doesn't know when she'll be back again.
New Year's Day, 2006: Flavor of Love premieres. And so begins Flav's quest to find true love and Tiffany "New York" Pollard's rise to super skank stardom.
August 2006: After Hoopz breaks his little rapper heart, Flav embarks on yet another journey to find the "flavor of love."
February 2008: The third time's a charm and Flav comes back for one last shot.
May 2008: Thing 2 returns to France to take her man. Flav has found love. Good for him. Bad for us.

You seemed really sad after you were eliminated.

First I was kinda mad, then I was kinda sad, but after I thought about it for a while, I really was upset. I cried on the flight home. I really, really liked Flav a lot. And I never expected to come on the show and start feeling him like that. I said from the beginning that I was a fan of the show and I wanted to meet him because I thought he was an intriguing person. At the most, I thought he’d be someone fun to kick it with. I didn’t know that I was going to end up falling for him and having that chemistry with him. I’m the kind of person who’s guarded with my feelings. Even at the final elimination, when we had to talk, I felt on the spot and none of my words came out right. Nothing I said really made any sense. It was awful, but after it sunk in, there were so many things that I wish I had said. So yeah, I was hurt by the situation, but I’m doing better now.

Did it take you a while to get over?

It did! I tried to get in touch with Flav, but I could never get a hold of him. (IS SHE STALKING FLAV??????)

What was it about Flav that you were so into? Did you find him physically attractive?

Yeah. Everyone asks, "How can you be into him?" But to me, it’s not about the way someone looks, it’s about how they make me feel. Being with him, I felt ways that I haven’t felt with anyone else. He’s very special to me and just spending time with him and talking to him one-on-one, just the things we’d talk about - he was able to tell me things about myself that no one else had. He really could see into me as a person, and I saw into him and I loved what I saw. He’s very, very smart. Very intuitive. He has a lot of wisdom. He makes me laugh and he’s very romantic, but at the same time, he knows how to take the lead. He’s great.

Flavor Flav finds Love

Three reality shows later, and a whole lot of drama heaped in between, Flavor Flav, I think, has finally met his girl.

(I just hope he and Thing 2 don’t decide to have children because no child deserves those odds in the "good looks" department.)
As much as I thought she and her twin sister were a bit raggedy looking, I was touched that Flav admitted to making a mistake in sending her home.

I’m glad he sent Sinceer and her conniving ways back to planet Klingon but I’m surprised he booted Seezins, too.
I knew when he brought Thing 2 all the way to France, that he really felt a connection. But I thought in the final two it would come down to Thing 2 and Seezins. But it came down to Black and Thing 2.

It was clear that he had the body hots for Black, but Thing 2 had his spirit. Maybe it was the romantic backdrops of Paris.

Maybe it was the candlelight dinners. Maybe it was Thing 2 denying him his nightcap and in so doing, showing her true vulnerability. Whatever it was, it was clear that he connected with her in a different way than the winners from the previous seasons.

Did he make the right choice? After two previous tries, he vowed that this is it and that there won’t be a Flavor of Love 4. Do you believe it?

Well, I know you probably seen the finale of Flavor of Love and was wondering what happened to Candance (Black) and why didn't she win. (If you missed it, the Gap Tooth Wonder, Thing 2 Won!) Well, I have a well placed source who says that there is a reason.

Thing 2's gamble paid off. She got to Flav's heart and gave him the peace of mind needed to make his decision. Black will go on to model and possibly be in the entertainment circle; but, Thing 2, may very well go on to become Mrs. William Drayton.

Flavor of Love 3 Finale Recap

Previously on Flavor of Love 3: Flavor Flav took Seezinz, Sinceer and Black to France. He eliminated Seezinz, but then magically brought Thing 2 back.

Tonight marks both the third season finale and the official series finale for Flavor of Love. VH1 has officially deemed this the last time Flavor Flav will look for love on TV, so either he finds it tonight, or he's given up hope.

The "final season finale" starts with Flav and Thing 2 making out. He tells his three queens that in the morning, one has to go. Someone should give these ladies a history lesson, because being a queen in France rarely ends well. Sinceer and Thing 2 are now at odds because of Sinceer throwing her former good friend under the bus as a needy, dependent person. Black backs up Thing 2.

The next morning at breakfast, Flav arrives to eliminate one more lady. He has three tickets: one to Paris, one to Monaco and one to Los Angeles. Thing 2 goes to Paris. Flav then asks Black and Sinceer to explain why they deserve to stay. Sinceer says her whole purpose is to protect Flav from fakers. This leads to an extremely loud shouting match between the two of them that drives Flav slightly mad. He then admits that none of this matters since all he's basing this on is who he feels the most romantically connected with, and that woman is Black. Sinceer leaves with a smile, though underneath she really hates Flav for doing this. In a parting move, Sinceer indicates that he'd better choose Thing 2.

Flav immediately flies Black away to Monaco. They take a long car ride in an old-school automobile and Flav falls asleep. At least he has Black's breasts as pillows. That night they have dinner and he gives her a butt-ugly pink, heart-shaped watch covered in diamonds. Then he pulls out a list of questions for her. She likes to travel for fun, but she doesn't have much of a sense of humor. She can't think of a single joke when he asks. Their evening ends with a night cap, which is reality dating show code for "booty call." Since she failed, here's my favorite joke (actually, it's my best friend's favorite, but I think it's funny every time she says it):

It's Thing 2's turn and they take a private jet to Paris. Thing 2 thinks the plane ride is "spectaculous." I now have a new favorite word for the next week. In Paris, they take a limo and Flav loves poking his head out of the sunroof like a drunken high school student en route to the prom. Thing 2 and Flav take a double-decker bus tour of Paris, and while the Louvre is just OK, the church where Tony Parker married Eva Longoria is the real highlight for these two crazy kids. They kiss at the Eiffel Tower, then he buys her about a million roses.

They arrive at a hotel for dinner, and the concierge's subtitles make it seem as though he has mistaken Flav for Prince. Hold the phone, a Prince dating show would be the best idea ever! Flav gives Thing 2 the same watch he gave Black, which is just tacky. They talk and laugh and then Flav pulls out the list of questions. For fun, she loves to eat, bowl and go to amusement parks. He asks for a joke and he gets two, but only the first is funny:

What did Flav say when two houses fell on him?
Get off me, homes.

He asks her for a night cap, and she refuses. I guess the show needed some way to raise the suspense, because without that move it was a lock. Who am I kidding, since Flavor Flav has said this is the final season and he's looking for real love, of course he's going to choose the woman he has a perfect connection with, even if she didn't want to give away the milk for free.

Flav spends his final moments reflecting on his decision. Does he go with the dull girl with fake breasts and a fondness for putting out, or the woman he has a genuine connection with who isn't a ho?

Flavor of Love 3 Elimination Time! The show wastes more than 10 minutes before Flav finally does the inevitable and chooses Thing 2. Sorry to sap it of suspense, but if you watched the finale, you know it was really that boring and predictable, especially since he had her flown out on her own just to bring her back into the competition, which kind of indicated that Flavor Flav made his decision a while ago. Flav didn't get his twins, but at least he got one.

Sinceer was finally given the boot by Flav. Her personality was too similar to New York's - MEAN!!!! Now it's down to Black and Thang 2.

Tonight's decision could be titled: "Sweet Young Thang" vs. "The Grown and Sexy".  Flavor Flav has entertained us for many years as an entertainer and musician.  The second stage in his career held us captive with his "romantical" interludes with Brigette, Hoopz, New York, Deelishis, and finally Black and Thang 2 (noticed that we kindly dump Sinceer).  Flav's final decision may be an emotional decision for all but Flav and the contestants.  The show's fans will now have to re-embrace New York, Tiffany Pollard, in her quest for stardom in Hollywood.  Another option is "the pseudo-Real World" competition when most of the past "Flavor of Love" contestants, battle for money on VH1.

But, none of these will ever be Flav.  Let's be logical about the upcoming Finale.  Flav will pick ___________________.  Thang 2 will win because she is "LOYAL, SWEET (at times), and TRUSTWORTHY."  While Black is "HOT, SEXY, PRETTIER, and easy on the eyes."  While Thang 2 has some admirable qualities, Black is the Flavor for Flav.  Look at his past decisions:  HOOPZ over New York (She was better looking); Deelishis over New York (Her booty was better looking); now, Black over Thang 2 (She better looking and HOT!!!)  Wooooowwww!!!  If you know one thing about Flav, he likes his ladies young, exotic looking, and doesn't make him look bad on the red carpet.

Maybe the months are rumors of Black's winning were correct.  "Black" can share a lot more with Flav than "2"or "Sinceer".  She's been around the way, she's already a mother, she has a degree, her own fan club, website, and many sexy pictures on the internet.  What man wouldn't want these things out of a woman that you won't get serious about anyway?

Seezinz talks about her Elimination

Previously on Flavor of Love, Seezinz was called down first, but surprisingly, got eliminated.  Flavor Flav decided to bring back Thing 2, leaving the competition with still three girls in the running.  On the other hand, Flavor Flav revealed that the rest of the activities are only for two girls so another lady will have to be eliminated.

   After her most recent elimination on the 13th episode of Flavor of Love's third season, Seezinz weighs in on her reality TV experience and the drama that may have led to her dismissal.

Although Seezinz felt that she had a strong bond with Flavor Flav, seeing that she made it to the top 3, she also felt that all the drama surrounding her fights with Sinceer played a role in the reason why she was still around.

"I actually wanted to stop fighting so much with Sinceer, because that's not me.  I felt like for the most part, our fights kept me around for ratings purposes.  When I got to Paris, I backed off Flav a little bit.  Black turned up the heat and Sinceer tried, so I was in the background. I'm not that aggressive of a person, so I thought that's why I was getting sent home.  I didn't think my comment about drama would even be a factor," she explained.

After everything that happened between her and Sinceer, Seezinz says she doesn't have feelings of resentment.  The fact is, she just doesn't like her.

"There's no beef," she added.  "I don't like her.  She'll never be a friend of mine.  I don't hold grudges, so after the reunion, it's, ‘Get out of here little girl. You're nothing to me.'"

Beyond all the catfights, Seezinz had a "very positive" reality TV dating experience.

"I was a little nervous at first because I didn't know how I was going to be portrayed.  But they portrayed me well, and I carried myself well," added Seezinz, who vocally designated herself as being classier than the rest of the girls.
