The state of California is accusing rapper turned reality show sell-out Flavor Flav of owing more than $183,000 in delinquent taxes, records show.

Flav, 50, real name William Drayton, is a member of legendary rap group Public Enemy, and lately has starred in several seasons of VH1’s reality show “Flavor of Love.”

What’s owed:
The state of California filed an $183,810 lien against Drayton on Sept. 17 in Sacramento County Court.

His side:
Flavor Flav could not be reached for comment. His manager said he forwarded an e-mail message to the rapper.

It has been rumored that Flav still owes a couple of his Babies’ Mamas some back child support.

Authorities responded to a disturbance call about 3:45 a.m. Sunday from a woman who said she had been choked and restrained by a male, the sheriff’s department of San Diego County, California, said in a statement.

When police arrived, “the reporting party identified herself as Tila Nguyen, aka Tila Tequila, and her alleged assailant as Shawne Merriman,” the statement said.

“Nguyen told deputies she had been choked and physically restrained by Merriman when she attempted to leave his residence,” the statement said.

Nguyen signed a citizen’s arrest at the scene, and Merriman was taken into custody on suspicion of battery and false imprisonment, according to the statement.

Nguyen was transported to a local hospital. Her condition was not immediately known.

As Tila Tequila, Nguyen starred on the MTV reality shows “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” in 2007 and “A Shot at Love 2 With Tila Tequila” in 2008.

On her Twitter account, Nguyen did not mention the incident but tweeted about going to meet Merriman on Saturday.

Merriman is entering his fifth year with the Chargers. The team begins its 2009 NFL regular-season campaign on September 14 in Oakland, California, for a game against the Raiders.

TV reality star and hip-hop phenomenon, Flavor Flav celebrated his 50th birthday with a blowout bash last night at Jet Nightclub inside The Mirage (Photo courtesy of The Light Group).

Flav was in full party spirit and didn’t disappoint the packed house by getting on the mic and carrying on with his clowning antics. When he shouted out his signature “Yeah boy!” the crowd went wild with excitement and there was absolutely no doubt then and there where all the fun on the Strip was taking place.

Flavor Flav was presented with a custom-made oversize Jet Nightclub timepiece set to 5 o’clock in honor of his “Big 5-0” birthday and then a tasty Jean-Philippe Patisserie cake in the form of a Viking helmet, the lid he wore so famously on his hit TV show, “Flavor of Love”. After smiling big while posing for photos with Jet’s sexy go-go dancers, Flavor Flav got back on the mic to warmly thank the house. The party rocked on until 3 a.m.

Looks like Flav won’t stop partying. By the way, where was his finacee’?
